PJs philosophy on the environment is reflected in the variety of packaging utilized which is fully biodegradable. This practice of employing the use of biodegradable wedges has assisted PJs in gaining recognition for ‘stainable development’ through the Glasgow business awards. In addition to this the packaging is of a robust design to guarantee the product reaches its destination reflecting the highest standard of presentation. With the use of specialist equipment, products are heat sealed and compressors used to apply a pressure of 100psi @ 180oC to ensure the product is airtight. The packaging is food grade and conforms to EEC Directives in accordance with BRC requirements.
