PJ’s operate a Quality Systems Manual, which covers all areas of hygiene and control. We currently operate to BRC Global Standard Grade A. We have regular audits by our clients and can demonstrate full due diligence.
The Company conducts weekly microbiological testing of products and employs full metal detection. PJ’s is also a registered training centre under The Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene with accreditation to train to Diploma Level.
Our premises are purpose built and divided into high and low risk areas. As well as the normal chilled storage, the production area and food preparation areas are also chilled. The temperatures are monitored by computer, 24 hours a day, using a fully calibrated and alarmed THERMOMAX system.
